Windows 7, The Folders Do Not Refresh Until Pressing F5
I used to get this but thought an update sorted it out but now it is happening again.
I am using Windows 7 Pro , service pack 1 and all updates are current.
When I delete, move , or rename a file it appears nothing has happened until I press F5.
I've tried the following:
- reset folder views - this only works for a while
- turned off file indexing - this did not work

Suggest you search the internet for "Windows 7 does not refresh" or "Windows Explorer does not refresh".
You will find loads of "hits" and loads of possible solutions. Suggest you just keep trying the solutions till one of them fixes it.
Some possible solutions include old video drivers, network connections, Windows settings (Aero etc.) and many more.
