Stupid Google+

I have no desire to use this but YouTube have made it so so complicated that I seem to have ended up with an account- no idea how it works and no apparently my YouTube email- which is need to access for my work- is going to my Google+ account which I never use and don't understand! Help!!

I did that by mistake too. I can't remember exactly how I got out of it, sorry, but it can be done.

I also noticed that a comment I made on a video appeared in big on my Google+ page! Why would I want to see that, or others to see that? It was meant for the author of the video!! I want to get rid of Google+ but keep my YouTube!

I'm pretty sure that happens if you delete the Google+, you can still keep the YouTube one. But try not to open Gmail and YouTube at the same time or it'll get nosy.

I was in the same condition as you are, but now I think google+ is not bad too. But I don't this way of acting.

Agreed it's quite annoying how youtube requires and uses Google+ accounts. Don't even use my Google+. I believe I let it give me one out of boredom. The pisser for me though is that even if I can delete my Google+ thus prompting it to use my youtube user handle, that wouldn't be much better. I no longer like the handle but don't wish to delete and start over because of the comments I have posted(which is actually all I have done with my youtube account, I have no idea nor the program to make videos, I would like to).

Hi Scarlett - I'm afraid we're all stuck with G+now (as far as I'm aware)

I would suggest visiting the setting on G+ and changing all your privacy stuff to the highest options.

Or you could try and find value in G+? We post nonsense on there at the moment:

Any idea then where I can find my YouTube emails on Google+? I have no idea how to navigate it!
