Windows 8 - Utorrent

I have utorrent3.3.2. the current version but one of the sites I use doesn't work on it, so have tried to download an older version 3.3.1. but although I have it on computer, when I try to download something it says that I still have another version running and to close them all, but I cannot find any other utorrents anywhere? Where else can I look??
