I've bought a Dyson Animal Cordless from Amazon using my long service vouchers and the Google Nexus 7 2013 from PCWorld with cashback.

These are my Xmas pressies to myself :o)

I very rarely splash out like this but its made me happy. What was the last thing you spent loads on?

A new car on Oct 1st, tigger. Hope you enjoy your Christmas pressies.
Well I would say my bike but I think the bill for my new specs might just be higher... :-(

Oooo very nice Tony :o)

I'm sure I will. My current vacuum is becoming more and more heavier to carry upstairs!
An iPad - the trouble is I now want an iPhone, an iMac - but probably not an iRon ....
Question Author
Are they designer, gness?
I never spend money on myself (still haven't even replaced the broken screen on my iPad) but himself did buy me a new iPhone (I think it was in lieu of a thank you for looking after him when he was poorly). Enjoy your Nexus, oy #1 has one and loves it.
Bill Clinton once splashed out on a dress I hear;-)

Took me a few seconds to get the iRon bit! lol
Those Dyson animal cordless vacs look pretty light to me, tiggs, much easier to lug up the stairs.

What type of specs, gness ?.
No, Tigger...I never buy designer....the frames are not too bad but I need lots of fiddling with the lenses and the price gets higher and higher....
Just varifocals, Tony...but I need bits extra in them...
Ah right then gness, useful for bike riding then.

I wouldn't mind an iPad but I'm with the Nexus, Sherr. I've been wanting to get one for ages now.

Indeed he did, Carrust!
Ohhh, I tried varifocals once, they made me feel sea sick, I got a refund after 4 weeks trying.

**happy (with the nexus)
Had them for years, Ferlew with no problem but my vision changes far too frequently.

The ones I am wearing are less than a year old and the prescription has changed quite a bit....At 3-5 hundred pounds a time it's a bit of a pain.
I've only got one because himself bought it for me, I would never spend that much on myself.

I'm thinking of getting my eyes lasered but I'm too scared. Fed up of glasses. Been wearing them since I was 12 although I did wear contact lenses for many years but I've stopped because my eyes get so dry.
Bloody hell, gness. Expensive and often.
I know, Tony.....
