Usually I have a rectangle Firefox logo at the top left corner of my screen, and when you click on it, you can personalize your PC..

Somehow, fiddling about it is now the globe logo which dosent do much.

How can I get it back, please?

What exactly are you trying to customise? Does anything here help?

Aha! I've just sussed it!

It seems likely that, at the same time as losing the orange rectangle, you've acquired a menu bar (with 'File', 'Edit', 'View', etc). That bar allows you to do the same things as you could from the missing rectangle.

However, if you'd like things back the way they were, go to View>Toolbars and click to remove the tick alongside 'Menu bar'.
