What's The Best Tablet Available At Present.

Looking for the best value for money tablet on the market. iPad or Google Nexus 7. Any recommendations?

Best value for money is Nexus 7 2013.

iPads are expensive for what they are. Boy #1 has a Nexus and loves it but boy #2 has a Kindle Fire and he loves that. Go to a computer shop and see which one you like the best (I can't work either of them because I have an iPad and am too lazy to learn how to use them).

At just over £70 for a 10.1 inch tablet – this looks pretty good:-

OK, it does not have great connectivity, or memory, and only one camera – but it would make a good introduction to a tablet.

Thanks guys. Do you need to get a virus protection for the Nexus 7. iPad which I have is protected via the Apple software.

It is not best value for money. Nexus 7 is the best value.

We haven't got any sort of protection on the Nexus or Kindle (but boy #1 may well have sorted something out on the Nexus).
