Pesty Adverts

Have new laptop and all of a sudden when I am on any web site adverts are appearing after ever click or key movement I make. How do I stop this please.

If you're seeing far more than the 'standard' adverts in websites (such as the ones that this site has down the right-hand-side) then it's almost certain that a type of malware (known as 'adware') has installed itself on your laptop.

To get rid of it, download, install and run the free version of Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware:
http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free/
(NB: When installing, take care to deselect the option of taking a trial of the 'PRO' version)

Thank you for that. I have done it but had to go to work before I could check it had worked so will let you know later if it has worked.
