Connecting Wireless Earphones To Tv

How and where do I plug the stand bit, have sorted the earphones and get radio but want to hear the TV. I have one wire with two yellow plugs at each end and another which is plugged into the stand bit, with a red and a black plug. I want to do this before Mr N comes home. At the side of the tv there is a red socket sayin R and a white socket saying L then a yellow one with a square and an arrow in it, then above that there is an earphone socket. At the back there is Line out L and R and audio in, plus other sockets??? Help in simple terms plase and thank you!

My tv has a hidden panel at the front which is difficult to open. Once open there are coloured sockets for different plugs. Maybe your tv is the same.

What make/model is it?
What make/model are the headphones?

By the way, methyl, I have headphones permanently plugged in to my tv and it doesn't mute the tv's speakers. I purposefully buy tvs with dual tuners.

I have all the sockets on the back and side of the TV, just not sure if I need to plug them into "line in" will try tomorrow.
