Sky Digital Problems

I'm on sky digital. I was channel hopping, when it became stuck on MTV2. There is no picture, just sound, the time on screen is frozen and I can't change the channel, even though the remote signal is reaching the box. Any ideas as to what is wrong? Or how I can rectify the problem?! Thanks

If it still hasn't rectified itself, re-boot the box by unplugging it (from the electricity supply, I mean), leaving it for a few seconds and then plugging it in again.

Yay! Thank you very much, it worked! I can continue to be a couch potato in peace...

Another thing to try when this happens (as it quite often does.) Is press the TV Guide button ,then press the  Back Up button. :-)
