Mm And Km Links December 2013 Week [3]

Gosh - Friday already. I've only just got round to putting up the Christmas tree (the grandchildren arrive tomorrow).

Last weekend, 'Lady Eleanor' survived her wet and windy hill-walk so will be here tomorrow to launch the third round of her challenge for you in the MM Links Game.
The introduction will appear in Q&P at 8:45 tomorrow morning. The challenge will follow at 9:00. Early players have the most chance of claiming bonus points though occasionally, a link remains undiscovered until Sunday afternoon. All are welcome to play.

Our sister game, the KM Links is also to be found in Q & P tomorrow morning. It is based on highlighted answers in the Daily Telegraph GK Crosswords (set by Kate Mepham = KM) on Saturday and Monday. It is managed by Seekeerz and starts very early in the morning. Time of play doesn't matter in the KM Game because no points are time sensitive. Play any time before midnight Sunday for an equal chance of points.

I stayed in all day today to receive a parcel from M&S (ordered back in Nov for delivery today). Nothing arrived. According to M&S it was "dispatched too late".

So that is my excuse for this post being late tonight: "It was posted too late".

Hello gen2, a merry Christmas and happy New Year to you, I too stayed in all day awaiting deliveries, none of which appeared

I'm feeling in a lucky mood this evening. I too had a problem with mail order - two items ordered for Christmas, both out of stock - but have managed to find replacements for both today. AND....have finished Hotpot quiz! Sat for 3 days (well, almost) with a wet towel over my head, Chambers and two Bradfords beside me and finally got the last two clues on Tuesday evening. They may not all be correct. What I particularly like about your quizzes, gen2, i that I always learn something from them.
It's ready to post, but I'll hold on to it until after Christmas in case of problems with the mail.
Will this lucky streak last until 9.02 tomorrow morning, I ask myself...

Congratulations on finishing it Tearinghair. I have about half a dozen back already (but not marked them yet).
I hope all my clues are sound enough so that when you get the answer, you know you have it right.
