Inkjet Printer
11 Answers
Hi, I'd like some help, please. My printer has packed up and I'm on the hunt for a new one. I know nothing about such things and there seem to be a great number to choose from. I've found a Canon PIXMA MG3250 at Argos and wonder if anyone has experience of these.
Most of my printing is photos e-mailed to me by my daughter (via desktop computer) and quizzes off Answer bank, so I don't need anything hi-tec and don't want to spend more than I have to. I'd be very grateful for some advice.

I have almost always had HP printers, it is easy to refill their cartridges and a new cartridge is in practice a new priint head. Epson used to have a piezo print head with a separate ink tank. Once the print head malfunctions you might as well get a new printer.

OK but Not the best, but depends on what you want and how much you are prepared to pay.

I bought a new printer a few months ago after spending hundreds of hours researching it. I originally thought about the Pixma MG3250 because it has great reviews and a good price. However I decided that I'd rather have a printer with separate cartridges for each ink colour (so that when one colour runs out I won't have to replace all of them) and so decided to pay a bit more for that printer's 'big brother', the Pixma MG5350, with which I'm very satisfied.
>>>Can I connect a wireless printer to my desktop too?
Wireless printers don't connect to computers directly. They connect to your router and can then be used by any computer connected to that router (irrespective of whether the computer itself is connected wirelessly or via an ethernet cable).
