Double Vhs

when searching on ebay for vhs tapes I see advertised double vhs, can someone explain to me what this means ?

Thanks for your prompt answer Slack Alice, however I'm not sure because I am seeking movies on vhs & as I say several of them are advertised as double vhs without explanation.

Well I've just searched for 'double VHS' on eBay and the illustrations seem to confirm that it simply means 'on two tapes'.

Thanks very much Chris, that never occurred to me, I was under the impression that it might be a special sort of VHS tape ( like the old Audio Tapes with side A & B)

There was a double sided videotape, it was called Video 2000

It lost out in the war of vhs versus betamax. Video 2000 machines were expensive but I thought they were superior.
