Can someone tell me how to save my dvds to the hard drive on my laptop......thanks

Do you mean commercial DVDs (films etc)?

Are you able to right click on the file and select 'copy', 'save' or 'save as'

Do you mean you want to copy it to the laptop so that you can watch them eg. if away from home and hence don't want to take loads of disks with you?

If so what you are talking about is ripping.

There are programs that will do this for you - but bear in mind copyright. Some dvds will have protection to suposedly prevent ripping.

Read licence agreements for any dvd you intend to copy to the laptop.

There is a new feature with some dvds called ultraviolet - this is where you get a code with the dvd that let yous download a copy to a computer or tablet LEGALLY!
