Iphone 4S And Home Network

Just got an 02 a/c with 3G and have set up bt home hub on my new phone. It seems as though it is still using the 3G network when I am at home instead of my wifi. Just downloaded my emails, wifi showing, but it charged me 15p. Anyone any ideas how I can sort it out?

Either disable the Carrier or remove the sim to enforce your wifi setup

Or turn off Cellular Data.

Thanks I have under settings mobile data, if I turn this off when at home, would this work? Presume just turn it back on when I go out to get 3G back on?

Yes, turn it off when you don't need it and just have wifi on at home. I always thought that the internet connection defaulted to wifi whereever it's available, I'm sure my iphone does.
