If I understand your question correctly Ron, you have some .mov or .mts or similar files on your PC. When you click on them they play as video and you want to create a DVD that will play on the DVD player you have attached to your TV.
Like audio CDs, video DVDs have a special format, they are not just a string of files. In order to create this sort of DVD you need special software. It could be that the DVD writing software that came with your PC will have a "create video DVD" option (my PC does, my laptop doesn't). Failing that you will need to get hold of a video editing package that will allow you to produce a DVD. I'm sure others will know of free ones that are available.

Thanks for your prompt answer bhg481, I do have 1 prog for conversion ( DVD Flick) which is giving out the message '' The video codec iTunes DRM is unsupported.

It sounds like your video is in a format which DVD Flick won't process, probably for copyright reasons.
Do you know what file format your video is in? If you list the directory it should tell you.
