Hi all,
can anyone tell me if a MP3 Player can be used to record music from a CD via a PC, or can it only be used to record music via the internet?
Thanks in advance

Windows Media Player which is part of all Windows systems can do this too, but saves music from CDs in a format called WMA (Windows Media Audio) which isn't the same as MP3, though most new MP3 players support the playback of these files as long as they're not DRM Protected.
Technically you don't actually record anything with an MP3 player, you simply transfer music onto it using a PC. The music can be downloaded from the Internet or copied from the CDs from your collection onto the PC and put onto the player.
