Upgrading From Old Nokia To Iphone 4
9 Answers
My father-in-law has an old nokia which is about to die. I have an iphone 4 that I want to give him but am not too sure what I need to do to get him going.
I thought it might have been as simple as swapping the SIM cards but realised that they are different sizes. He is currently on Vodafone Pay-as-you-go. Ideally he would prefer not to have to change his mobile number.
What is the easiest way to get him up and running on the iphone?
Thanks

Vodafone should do it if you go into your local shop and ask nicely.

He doesn't live near to a vodafone shop or a carphone warehouse. is there any way he (or I) could organise it over the phone?
Also, he only spends a couple of quid every month on his phone currently. But I'm guessing he will have to spend more for his data once he starts using the iphone. What is his best and cheapest option for doing that? (I don't know about this because my iphone was provided through a company contract).
Thanks

They run on the Vodafone. Network so you should not have a problem. I have been with them for quiet a while now and had no problems. For a light user this cant be beat. A one off payment of £ 20 gives you 200 minutes 300 text and 500 mb data, each month. Yes thats correct a one off payment, so if you don't go over the monthly limit you do not pay a penny more. I paid £20 months ago and have not paid anything since. Its a super deal. Sound just right for what you want and can all be done on line.
