Sony Earphones, Zx 600 Opening The Earcups

A friend has asked me if I can do anything about the left hand side that does not work. I have searched and can find no way to open the earcup. I am not just going to lever something off as they are not mine to break. Do they come off or are they factory sealed? Thanks for any info, Terry

Sorry, I cant answer your question directly but it occurs to me that you're probably looking in the wrong place anyway. It's far more likely that the fault lies within the jack plug on the end of the lead than within the earcup.

Thanks buenchico but I have decided to give it back.If it was mine I might have done what you suggested as I have a spare adaptable jack plug, but the phones have a nice flat cable with the jack plug sealed off. I cant chop it off just in case that is the fault, thanks,Terry
