Cannot Project My Laptop To A Second Screen!

I like to watch films on my laptop, projecting it to a second screen and feeding it to my tv via a HDMI cable. The other day I had a few problems with getting blank screens when opening web pages and was advised to uninstall some servers. I think this may have affected my laptop as when I go to project to second screen it says 'Try installing the driver or using a different video card'??? Anyone help??

We might need some more information to answer your question. I don't understand what you mean by "uninstall some servers". Do you mean that you uninstalled some drivers? If so, and this caused problems, you might need to get those drivers back again. If you're using Windows, you could use System Restore to return your computer to the point in time before you uninstalled the drivers. Or, you could visit the website of your laptop manufacturer to download the latest drivers, and then you can install them.
