Google Earth Memory

I have started to get the message, "Google Earth is running low on memory."

This message pops up when I am looking at something. Can anyone tell me how to do something about it. I am on an IPad and have plenty of power in the battery. Thanks.

Close down some other apps to free up some memory.

If you mean, sliding the pages up the screen after pressing the button twice, I do that regularly.

Yes that was what I meant, have you tried clearing the history and cache from the settings within Google Earth?

This is a known bug in Google Earth , especially the ios versions. No fix is yet forthcoming, suggesting that Google don't know what is causing it.
