Friend's bt email has been hacked and 'they' contacted me for money, panicking now that 'they' could hack my bt internet account so deleted loads of emails and contacts on laptop. But contacts on ipad are still as they were, not deleted as on laptop. Can I delete my bt account on ipad and then load it again, if so how ? Thanks all, will that cure problem?

I personally would leave the ipad as it is. All you need to do is change your BT password.
