I have been offered upgrade spysweeper but all attempts to download bring up message the file exe can not be saved because the source file can not be read Webroot have sent support but this has not worked I recently reinstalled and use registry mechanic - can anyone advise if this can have caused the problem thanks

in my experience it is normally firewall, anti-virus and sometimes anti-spyware software that tend to cause the problem of being unable to download files, i had the same problem and found it to be that my firewall was set to high, also some spyware/virus can prevent downloads among other things so make sure you check that out too, hope this helps, snipe!
