Which Webcam Should I Buy ?

Don't know much about these but I live alone so it has to be easily installed, so I know what I am doing.
I have relatives in Australia , and Luxenbourg that I need to get one for.

I saw one in Wilko for approx £8 , it did not have a CD with it, do most of them not have the CD now ?

I agree with boxtops as I have seen a vast difference from a web cam using Skype to Australia. Still easier if you have an ipad.

Are you using a laptop or desktop and does it have a built in webcam? Many modern ones do.

If not, you will need to get a webcam to use Skype. You can download Skype for free.

Most modern laptops have a built in webcam (centred above the screen) if yours hasn't then you shouldn't need to pay more than £10. If you can get one with an installation disc then even better.

Bought a webcam, I have put the wire with the oblong shape into the back of the tower, there is a smaller headed wire coming out of the same place, where does this go please ?
