My Quick Views list is showing 91 Unread Feeds. What are these, how can I get rid of them ('Delete' is not enabled) and is it possible to avoid them appearing in future? I'm on Windows 7.

I'm guessing that Windows Live Mail is using the RSS 'Common Feeds List' which is fed by Internet Explorer.

Open Internet Explorer, click on Favorites and then on Feeds. Right-click on any feed you see there but don't want and select 'Delete'.

Then switch to a decent browser (which is basically anything except Internet Explorer but Firefox would be top of my list: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/ ). If you're not using IE it can't collect feeds for Windows Live Mail!

I am using Chrome and sometimes Firefox, Buenchico - haven't used IE for months. I did eventually manage to delete them, but had to do so one at a time; I thought there'd be an 'Empty unread feeds box', but obviously not. it took ages.
It will take ages if you are deleting each one individually.

A quicker way is to press and hold down Ctrl then click every item you wish to remove from the list. Then right click and delete. Finally, empty your 'Deleted Folder' with a single click.

Hans.
