encoding sound for vcd's

lateley when ever i try to encode a film to vcd format using tmpgenc there is no sound present, when i try to rip the audio  i get an error code when i open the film i can still rip the audio but when i encode the film i get a error commend at the end of encoding the footage plays fine for about five mins then the audio goes completely out of sync.

what am i doing wrong and is there any software for ripping audio and is tmpgenc the best vcd encoder
