I have got a Samsung 355V laptop with windows 8, my new printer is a wireless HP2540 connected through a router to my laptop.
I have had an Invoice sent to me by email, I pressed the download button
and opened it, and can see the Invoice, but I can't print it off, the screen is black behind the invoice with no print button. Does anyone know how to
print on Windows 8 in this situation.

Have you tried right clicking? It should bring up a lot of icons along the bottom of the screen, including 'print'.
As far as I'm aware, the standard Windows shortcut of pressing Ctrl and p together should also work.
Is it an attachment to the email, if so can you not copy it into a New document in word and print off from the new word document. I think there is also a way of saving the attachment into documents and again printing off from there.
Save the file first, then you should be able to print it.
It's always worth right-clicking on anything because that usually results in a pop-up menu of the actions that can be taken with it, and printing is a common option if you can already view it.
