Quality Of A Photo To Be Used As A Large Framed Pic
5 Answers
A friend posted a pic on fb that I think is lovely and would be interested in having it as a framed picture for my wall.
However how do I get an idea if it would look ok as a blown up picture ie the quality etc.
Thanks

As a rule of thumb, you need about a 2MB file to look good at A4 size and around 3.5MB for a decent A3 print. Facebook pictures are usually about 150KB maximum - looks OK on a screen but not so clever when printed.
