I'm wondering why I need a land line any more. Has anyone else got rid, and does anyone have any views on disadvantages, of using mobiles only?
I get my broadband through a separate fibreoptic line, so the phone line isn't needed for that. At the moment my landline seems to exist to keep anonymous callers in a job.
The Pros are it'll save you loads of money. I got rid of my landline about ten years ago because I actually found it much cheaper to get a mobile on contract from 3 and a broadband only deal from Virgin Media (which was owned by NTL back then).
