LB, i know, what i mean is there a better company, this means i will spend 8.50 plus nearly 16 quid before making any calls a month, this line rental malarky is the pits add in VAT and i am looking at a lot a month, i
have to find a better deal than this, not to mention their customer service is an oxymoron as is their tech support

I use an excellent service (Claranet) but it's not cheap at over £18 per month on top of my normal BT line rental. In the economy range, both Tesco and Post Office generally get good reviews:

In my area, North Yorks, Plusnet is £17.75 per month. 12month contract, unlimited broadband and free weekend calls. I'm locked into Talktalk but will change when my contract runs out.

its why i asked, because are they just saying they are the best price, i think the hardest part is a locked in line rental,

I pay TT my year's line rental up front and it costs me less than £10/month if I remember correctly. That's a good deal.

Just checked and it is £9.50/month £114/year. So this is probably factored in when they say they are the cheapest em.

I do this and renewed in December when it was £126 for the year.
They are currently saying you can save £60 p.a.
You can do it through your online account under 'Extras & Offers'

Gone up £1/month then oldred since I renewed in August. Still a good deal though. On line is best em I would say. AB's saved you money. Wey Hey!
