Have you tried here?

I'd have also expected the AD button to toggle the audio description on and off but, since it doesn't (and if the manual doesn't help), try asking Tesco Tech Support on 0800 323 4060 (free from a BT landline) between 0900 and 2000.
One last thought though:
Have you tried turning the TV set off (not just putting it on standby), unplugging it and waiting a few moments before plugging it back in again? That might be all that's required to restore it to its normal settings.

Hi there BC,I've checked out that website for the manuals and looked up the part for the remote, and "blow me down" I've been pressing the AB button to try and disable. So where the heck is the AD button?
'Er indoors ' is looking at the tv at the moment I'll try turning it off and on later. Thanks as always

I only assumed that it was on your remote control because you said that you'd found it there. It's quite possible that no such button (per se) exists and that the required setting is somewhere within the on-screen menus that you can bring up. If so, the manual should tell you about it.
