Laptop Problem

my laptop has recently taken a slight bump and now i have issues with it. the thing works fine in every way except that i have to sit it at a slight angle to turn it on. when it is on if i try to sit it flat it goes straight into sleep mode, its really annoying. anyone know if this is fixable?

Most things are fixable at a cost. It sounds like some kind of dodgy connection, which, if so, ought not cost you too much to fix. But you'd have to take it in for a check.
