Sizing Photos For Wallpaper On Iphone

Can anyone tell me how, if it's possible, to make a picture the right size to fit the screen when using as wallpaper. Currently the pictures are too big so you lose some of the image. I have tried cropping picture but this just fits what is left of the picture into the space so not any good. Thanks

You don't need to size wallpaper on iphones, it comes prepasted.

For the iPhone 4/4S you need to ensure that the image size is 960 x 640. For the iPhone 5/5S you should make it 1136 x 640. You can do it on your computer using Irfanview (which is free) but it's probably far simpler to invest 69p in Wallax, so that you can do it directly on your iPhone:
