Ebay Feedback Is A Joke!!

Do any other AB members feel like me that the feedback on Ebay is a joke? I sold an item and the buyer didn't pay, I sent emails and messages, all of which were ignored, so I tried to leave negative feedback only to be told that it was not possible!!! What is the point of having the feedback option if you cannot use it to warn others about non paying time wasters!! Ebay help desk were just as useless and the excuse/reason they gave was pathetic!! Rant over!!

You leave positive feedback - but with a very nasty comment - it's the only way unfortunately.

I think now most people use the feedback to confirm that the goods have arrived. But I have heard that ebay is more in favour of buyers rather than sellers. This may be to weed out the bad sellers/ scammers.

This is very true. I took to someone at EBay about exactly this not long ago. They are going to bring back the ability for the seller to leave negative feedback. (or so they said). Seeing 100% positive is confusing when you delve a bit and see "beware. Says they will come to collect and doesn't. " etc I have had 2 nightmare cases of buyers this year that I had to open cases against to close the situation.
