I have been invited to the night time of a wedding on Friday . Its my hairdressers wedding and I am not sure what to get for them. They have lived together for a couple of years now so have everything they need. How much do you think it would be appropriate to spend and any ideas what I could get them ?

A nice bottle of bubbly is always welcome

Great idea ! I never even thought of that , thank you.
You can get that sort of thing personalised with their names & date if you want to go that extra mile.
I've seen some lovely cheese boards for cheese lovers or what about a nice plant?
Cheese boards from NOT ON THE HIGH STREET
You are not being invited to the wedding I notice, only the "evening do", so I am not sure why you need to buy them a wedding present at all.

I have decided to get the champagne for them . Mikey , I would have thought it was the done thing to get a gift , I know I always have in the past .
Evening do - bubby is sufficient

I am not an evg person at all, and I usually make a point of saying can I go to the ceremony and then off to bed at home please ( er not with the bride or anyone )
I am with you 100% PP.....evening do's are quite a modern invention as far I am concerned....why do weddings have to drag on for so long ?
hate weddings ! someone always falls out with someone else !
There's always a fight at one of our weddings too :)
Just tell them your not going as you are getting your hair done
Shar..are we cousins ? lol.....your previous incarnation much easier to use..hope you do not mind !
No I don't mind at all, and probably, when I was little it was my favourite part of any get together by my Dad's family- they could all argue with themselves alone in an empty room, but it's quite entertaining:)
