Do You Regret Buying Your Ipad?
24 Answers
After a discussion with a friend last night who also owns an ipad does anyone one else who uses an ipad or i-device regret ever buying it. I don't and my friend (who is 72) doesn't. We have had ours now for almost 3 years and still no problems. Wondered what others thought?

Had mine about two years now, no problems, find it very handy for taking on holidays etc. also like how quick the start up is. Battery life still very good. Yes it des have a few restriction but you tend to get round them. I guess it is like Marmite you either like them or hate them.
I have just got an I pad 4th gen to replace my Samsung tab2 10.1 as it kept searching & or loading/buffering on you tube video's, I tried a couple of Samsung Tab 3 8" for work which had the same results, so traded for the I pad
for home & getting another cheap 7" tablet form work.
"So far I am liking the I pad" - just gotta navigate better, the 16gb is almost full 24hrs on, maybe should have got a 32 gig version.
sorry for the waffle!

Gsr600 When I bought my ipad2 I bought the 16gb I should have gone for a bigger memory. But I did not realise how much I would use it. I still have loads of memory left though and there is always the iCloud.
Smurfchops I downloaded Pages & Numbers (word processing & spreadsheets) £6.99 each. They are now free if your machine is after a certain date. Took a while to get used it also invested in an a new printer (£80 from Apple Store) so another thing I do not use my laptop for. I use my ipod to take pictures as it is much smaller.

Yes anotheoldhit you can get ones much cheaper but they don't do everything as well as the apple IPad .I have compared that with my friends and cheaper in the long run as apple has it's own security so you don't need to pay out extra for security. It's the same old saying again you get what you pay for .
I love my iPad for browsing the web and emails.
For proper work then I use my laptop but it feels like I've gone from a super car to a clapped out old banger. The immediacy of the iPad is fantastic.
I didn't have a choice of what tablet I got but having read reviews and spoken to others iPads are definitely the preferred choice. Have seen some alarming feedback regarding cheaper models of tablet and cheapness often means dispose rather than repair which doesn't sit well with me green ethos.

Me and him each have an iPad and an iPhone, both are blooming marvellous.
One of the features I particularly like is that when either of us take a photo with our phone, it gets sent to our iPads too, no need to fiddle about with downloading them, they just appear as if by magic (I believe it's something to do with iCloud).
The other thing I really like is that when you go into an apple store there are always lots of extremely helpful techie people there who never talk down to you but will explain anything very simply and clearly.
No regrets at all.
