How Do You Attach Docs To Email In Yahoo....

Im sending email via Yahoo mail....on the ipad there is the paperclip icon for you to click and attach a file.
Im using Yahoo on the laptop tonight and Yahoo doesnt have the paperclick icon or anythg obvious to attach a doc...help please? Thank you!

The paperclip should be next to the 'Send' button:

Thanks, thats where i thought it was...but on my screen i have the Send button and to the right i have the font buttons for bold, italic etc, then the left or right justified buttons, then spelling and so on, there is one to insert a link, but no attachment? Confused!

Googling for 'yahoo missing paperclip' suggests that it's a browser problem, so the obvious question is "which browser are you using?" and the subsidiary question is "have you tried another browser".

The problem seems to be reported solely with Internet Explorer (which I really, really hope that you're not using - it's totally dire!) but users of Chrome say that it's there. (I'd guess that it would also be there in the excellent Firefox, which is what I use).

To make matters worse, Yahoo Mail is also pathetic (on a par with the dreaded Hotmail/Outlook) so it's hard to work out where the problem really lies.

Im using Internet Explorer, i dont know huge amount about why, as hubby set it up although he uses Chrome.
I tried going into hotmail and i could send an email from there with paperclip icon so ive done that as a quick fix but will dig a bit deeper..thanks very much.

Well all I can suggest now is that you consider using a decent browser
http://www.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/new/
and an excellent email service
http://www.gmx.co.uk/
so that you don't experience such problems in the future.
(If you do create a GMX email account you can use the Mail Collector to get mail from your Yahoo account automatically forwarded to it, so you won't have to worry about people not knowing your new address)
