Ebay/paypal Arrrrgggghhhh....what Have They Done?

Ok normally when I buy through ebay the paypal window comes up defaulted to my debit card/current account as the source wonderful! Well it was, last couple of days the paypal window appears but it seems to default to my credit card and when I try to change it my debit card/bank account is not even on the list! what has changed any ideas anyone? I logged into paypal and eveything is as expected. So why can't I pay with my normal current account/debit card anymore? I have googled but can't see the wood for the trees, thanks.

have you checked your expiry date on the debit card ?

just phoned me mate and he said the same

then said he had a similar problem he cleared cookies shut down and then re started up and his was ok

that was a few weeks back

so long as your addy and account is ok i would leave it for a while and then try again

I have just been asked by ebay to change my password and link the new one with paypal again. Isn't there some problem with ebay-hacking going on? have you been asked to make any changes yet?

This is probably to do with the recent hacking problems they've had and we've been asked to change our passwords, I assume.

the account is otherwise fine, I changed my PW a fortnight ago, this only started yesterday. A bug of some sort no doubt!

Maybe OK if you go back to it after a while.
