Facetime On Apple Iphone 4S

Hi, Iv got an iphone 4s and i have not upgraded to IOS7, my partner has just bought the same phone and his was upgraded to IOS7 in the shop, everytime he tries to facetime me, it rings and when I answer, it just says connecting but doesnt connect, is this because I havent upgraded. iv done everything else in settings.

Are you both using wi-fi?

Iv got wifi and hes using his cellular data at the moment, but we tried it at home the other day, both using wifi and the same thing happens x

What haven't you upgraded? If you go into Settings, it will tell you if you should.

it is telling me to upgrade to IOS7 but so many people told me their phones had not been right since upgrading that

Sounds like you definitely need to update to IOS 7 then.

I don't know of anyone who's had problems.
It takes a day or two getting used to the new icons but bar that it's all ok.

When I say it's all ok, DON'T do the colour inversion unless you're female or very light on your feet.
