What Does This Sentence In A Textbook Called 'sciencia' Mean? (See Below, Picture Of Book's Pages Attached With Doubts)?

1st paragraph all the way up to c2 : what is the squares in this sentence? I put question marks in my confusions. the two 'paragraphs' or 'whatever' I boxed are both messed up, like its both confusing when I read them one 'whatever' by one 'whatever'. Okay, I can see the pictures, although the images are not very clear.
The pages seem to be covering GCSE Maths topics of angle rules relating to angles on a line, at a point and in similar triangles, as well as aproof of Pythagoras' theorem.
But I don't understand your questions. What do the 3 'whatever' references mean, for example.
Can you set each query out separately and indicate which diagram/page you are referring to, please.

Regarding "'four triangles can also be arranged in this large square to leave a central space", I suggest you draw it out, then cut out the larger square, the smaller square and the two triangles shapes and piece them together in the two ways shown, including as in the third diagram which has one large shaded central square (which has been rotated by 30-60 degrees- I can't remember which as I've closed the images)

Proving the angle sum of a triangle is 180 degrees is straightforward, although these proofs always rely on using some other known facts which you don't have to prove- in this case angles on a straight line add up to 180, and alternate angles (where parallel lines are involved) are equal.
