Got back home this morning from Co Donegal with my new baby. She's 11 weeks old and was as good as gold for the whole journey, bless her. We've called her 'Brienne' after Brienne of Tarth, big, blonde and beautiful :)

Lovely journey thanks AgChristie, the name just seemed to suggest itself :)
What part of Donegal?
Just nosey. My gramps is from Balyshannon.

Wow that's freaky Ummm, we got her from Cavan Garden which is on the Donegal road out of Ballyshannon, literally about 5 miles away. My Dad has a cottage in Donegal as well.
Look at those enormous paws :) She's going to be a huge one!
Lovely looking Wolfie, I trust you have researched the rearing of a wolfhound, a few more pitfalls than rearing your average puppy.

Good luck, she will bring you many years of love and happiness, as have ours :-)
How is Brienne settling in so far kval?
Question Author
Her Dad is the biggest wolfhound I've ever laid eyes on, soft as anything but utterly massive, her mum's not little either for a ***, she's only 11 weeks old so she's certainly got some growing to do but she's so chilled out, just milling around with the other dogs and finding herself a shady spot, I couldn't be more pleased with her.
She will soon be as big as ours in my Avatar :-)
Be careful about her running and playing with the other dogs to much, a lot of damage can occur to her joints with too much excited playing.
Question Author
Thank you RATTER, yeah my dad's had them before and we had a wolfhound cross but this is my first wolfhound puppy from scratch and I know they have dietary and exercise specialities but any advice would be most welcome, if you have any to give:)
I've got to pop out for an hour, but I'll be back after that:)
She's lovely Kval , love the name too.

I will let my good lady "Carakeel" advise you, she is the one that does the research and with all the contacts.
