Good Morning Early Birds

Friday. I can't believe I am the first one here.
I've been awake since 3am and have been alternating between drinking tea and trying to finish some cushion covers. A few weeks ago there was light in the sky and 3am but now it is pitch dark until after 4am.
I have just checked my Ebay messages as I am having a carry on with a woman I bought a skirt from and the skirt didn't arrive and under Ebay rules I am entitled to a full refund including postage.I had to laugh at her most recent message. She says she is not giving me a refund but is listing a similar skirt and I can buy it from her.....with a discount. Flaming cheek! Time to open a dispute methinks.
I will be spending most of the morning carrying on making my nautical cushions (I have an order from a local shop) and if the sun comes out I may take a lengthy break on the sun lounger.

i am up at an obscene hour to do a favour for my brother in law - i must drive down to kent (i live in cambs) and deliver some parcels to a hospital, then drive back home, in time to go to my work at around lunchtime ....... it's going to be a long day

Jan...the retreat part is now privately owned and no longer has a restaurant ! So..ended up at the sun just outside newtongrange...by the old viaduct ..which is now restored and to carry the new borders to Edinburgh railway....

Heavy mist here but expecting another hot one..hit 29° yesterday....far too hot ! Finished painting at last ...but not for long...going up to do various paint jobs for mum over weekend... oh coming home today from his wee canoe expidition up north...so may visit church of ASDA later !!

I had to forgo my walk this morning. I had a phonecall at 3,30 to go to the rescue of a friend who had a bit of bother at home. Lives alone, so not a domestic. Another lovely day is here, and it's Friday. :o}

I and my crew had an email forwarded from the people on the charter Wednesday to thank us for such a lovely day and they would be back soon, also would recommend us to all and sundry. It's nice to be appreciated, even if the fine day was nothing to do with us, we don't make the weather! ;o}
