Has fb changed the message facility? Has it got to be Instant Messaging - i find that too intrusive. Is there any way of returning to the past way & without revealing phone numbers?

Have to go now but, if you mean personal messages, to avoid the box popping up bottom right of screen use the link on the left side amongst the lists of apps etc, it will open as normal then.

Not sure Daffy, but the callers image butts in, with bells ringing. I cant message back u less I download a message app.

On my phone I need the app but on my iPad I don't.

Just remembered, my phone has the newest update software thing but my iPad doesn't, maybe it's to do with that.
