I use Microsoft Outlook 10 as my e-mail client. Please could someone tell me how to make links open in Chrome rather than the default IE. I have both installed. Thanks.

If you go to Preferences in Chrome. Go to Default Browser and you can make Google Chrome the Default Browser. I'm an Apple user so not sure Outlook will accept this, but give it a try.
