Facetime

Put a new contact into FaceTime on my iPad with their email address and mobile number, yet all calls to one another fail. Any idea why this may be?

I think that the person at the other end also needs your details obviously and they also need to turn on their FaceTime through settings. It is the same for the iMessage (the green blob)
