Someone in my village earns his living by buying and then selling on eBay. He didn't have anything to sell initially.

I make money on eBay by buying vintage cameras and photographic items and reselling them after mending any faults. You have to know what you are looking for and what can be resold at a profit. For example I bought a camera for £8 last week, this week I sold the lens for £17 and the camera body for £16. Original seller did not know what type of camera it was and just listed it as 'Old Camera'. I did know what it was and relisted the camera and lens separately with a full description and the correct names.
