Got an email thanking me for payment to Skype for 50 quid .Never sent it but there was a link to dispute or something like that so deleted it pronto .would say some thief was at their work gonna empty the account now in case it's been got at .

If it a genuine paypal email it will be addressed to you personally. The scam ones just say Dear Customer.

Don't even know who Skype is so was no not gonna send him cash anyway .been about a bit this scam
Skype is a popular VOIP program for making free telephone and video calls via your computer.
You did the right thing in deleting in, weecalf - I get phishing emails from PayPal too. I forward them to [email protected] then delete them.

They won't have your bank details - what they are looking for, if you had clicked on the link, would be for you to "verify your details" - that's when they get access to your account, and why you don't do that!
