You haven't said whether the two are connected by SCART or HDMI. In either case check that the connectors at both ends haven't been disturbed - probably best to disconnect and re-connect. Always worth trying different sockets on the TV and DVD recorder and, if you have one, a different lead.

I have scart leads but could fit hdmi if it would solve the problem
Well worth checking the SCARTs are properly connected before you spend money on HDMIs - they do get disturbed sometimes.
Is the sound interference on the recording or does it just happen on playback? ie, is it the same interference every time you play a particular recording or is it different each time you play that recording? If it's on the recording don't forget to make a new recording AFTER you check the leads.

what is the function of HDMI CABLE ?
HDMI cable does the same job as a SCART cable but will cope with HD video. Connectors are much smaller and easier to connect and the cables are thinner so more flexible.
