I upgraded to iOS 8 on my iPhone and now it won't accept a new calendar entry. You still press the plus sign on the top right hand corner but after you make an entry, the pus sign does not change to the done sign as before. If you press the plus sign again. You lose the entry. Help please.

On mine the + changes to Add after I make an entry...

Can't answer your question however I am expecting an update imminently as there appear to be quite a few bugs in ios8.
I too have had an alarm for a calendar entry I didn't make and am having the odd glitch with copy & paste too.

Hmmm I just tried it on mine and it still works you press plus and it goes to the new event page, you add the event then press add, top right and it adds it.

I've now noticed that the entries are appearing on my iPad calendar but still not on the iPhone. Strange that!

Have you got the right calendar selected on your iPhone? Click Calendars at the bottom of the main calendar page to check

Strangely it has started to work now. I am a prolific user of calendar notes and I don't think I was doing anything differently at all. Thanks all for the assistance.

Apple releases iOS 8.0.1 a week after iOS 8 to fix bugs!

PLEASE Ignore the above as Apple have removed the faulty update! It's been causing all sorts of problems.
