I don't even see how you would even benefit from being on the Internet if you have a zip file you wish to expand. Save to download an unzip application prior maybe.

i have got a file on a dongle that my chap says i need to unzip it to open it

the only thing he is waiting for bt to connect his internet (dont ask) but it will take up to 2 weeks to do so - so no sure if he will be able to open it or not ?

By dongle I assume you mean a flash drive. As long as he has an unzip app then for sure he could. Maybe if he doesn't have one he can get someone else to download one and put it on the flash drive for him.
