Its was all going very well in Sainsburys this morning...everybody stood still and quite and looked thoughtful.

Until, that is, some idiot womans Mobile went off, Instead of stifling it and looking sheepish, she answered it and told whoever it was that "I can't talk much now, as we are being silent in Sainsburys"

She then proceeded to carry on talking, at a volume that everybody else could hear ( which wasn't difficult as it was the only noise in the shop, bar the 'fridges )

Any idea what the current rate is for strangulation these days ?

mikey mikey mikey why does one post such a thread? This one is going to go like every other one regarding Remembrance Day. Ouch....
Some people are unable to live their life without a mobile phone glued to their ear. That was very disrespectful of her.
Would it really have killed her just to stay silent for two teeny minutes? My 4 year old managed it at Nursery today.
Shame on her. Very disrespectful.

I Think people are very rude and about 95 percent of people either cannot read or don't care. In Doctor's, Dentist's and Hospital waiting rooms people are asked to switch off their Mobile Phones, but do they,? of course not. It really annoys me when I see someone using their mobile for either playing games on or just having loud conversations by someone who has called them or they just make their own calls or loud musical texts coming in as well. was there life before mobile phones I wonder.
On a par with I think, Mikey......disrespect at both occasions....x

Gness...Stupidity would be my preferred term !
As I said on an earlier thread, an event such as this doesn't really surprise me any more in modern society, though it does sadden me.
geez oh, one person out of how many ? over reaction mikey.
I'd probably be guilty of forgetting to turn my phone off but I certainly wouldn't have answered it.
What about the disrespectful person that phoned it?

"geez oh"? LOL
Is it not the rudeness of a breaking into the silent thoughts of those observing, Anne?

It was only one person out of about a hundred at the funeral....but still one too many....x
